Coconut oil. It’s obviously very oily but it helped my baby a lot 😊 Or something unscented since their skin is so sensitive.

Skin to Skin

Silly question but after you deliver the baby how does the skin to skin contact work? Do they immediately set baby on your chest?

babybump_user They put my boys on my chest immediately while cleaning him up.

Washing baby clothes

Do you guys wash all your new baby clothes in baby detergent? Does it irritate baby's skin if you don't?

babybump_user Washed everything before wear with Dreft...I used Dreft until my kids turned 1
babybump_user I just used our regular detergent with my first and will do the same with this one.
babybump_user I used baby Dreft. washed all new born stuff and used it for the first few months

Raptor is doing GREAT!! He is off of everything (as you can see :)) except for a feeding tube and an IV!! I got discharged today so I could get to my baby boy! I got to hold him skin to skin and it was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced.
