@mumstasin, sorry each gummy is 0.5 mg and we give him 2 each night last night he actually had 3 but I had given him 2 and he got a second wind so we took him to the store and didn’t get home until late so I gave him one more at 9pm but I gave him the first 2 at 715
@bubbys.mommy, thanks! I’ll ask his pediatrician what he recommends. But I do feel like the gummies might be best for my son. The only way he’ll sleep is if he has a really active day. Like, a day of going to the park then the pool. Lol
@mumstasin, you’re welcome! Also the brand I use only comes in gummy form and I can’t even find an off brand that’s cheaper. It’s annoying but it’s something I need so I deal with how much it costs 😂😭
No. Sleep is developmental and supplementing with synthetic versions of things the body naturally produces on its own isn’t really safe or healthy.
I haven’t but my friend did with her kid and he got really sick and hospitalized for 3 weeks
I give my son melatonin. Every night. We don’t use this brand thigh we use the Vick’s zzzz for kids one. It helps. My sons witching hour was his bed time. For over a year, I battled him with bed time and he was going to bed extremely late, waking up early(i would have to wake him up myself) to go to school he only naps for an hour to an hour and a half. Then it would start all over again. Ever since giving him melatonin his sleep has been AMAZING. I started it for his own sanity, he’s extremely happy during the day now and still only take his 1hr 30 minute nap but he’s happy and okay after and I’m not needing to wake him up in the mornings. He goes to bed at a decent hour occasionally crawls into my bed(I know that’s normal) and wakes up on his own at a decent hour in the morning. My sons behavioral therapist and a couple other people high suggested I get it for him.
