@llcoolkay well babies don't flinch unless they been hit. They might blink or close their eyes but not flinch

My mom is a crazy worry wart and asked me if my son might be blind because he never flinches when stuff is in his face.

Baby don’t flinch LOL 😂 your mom is funny. My baby looked crosseyed to me for a couple months. All she did was get wide eyed sometimes lol

Mine doesn’t flinch. If I come in close he will get wide-eyed, but he won’t flinch. They are too young to know to protect their eyeballs just yet.

Lol. My daughter is 3.5 starting school in September. My mom says to me the other day. " Are you going to talk to her teachers a out how she has a problem sitting still" No mom she's 3 lol she's doing just fine. She's extra smart and into everything so that's why. Also I'm sure the teachers have delt with busy kids.... Ughh Moms lol

Lmao. My moms the same way. My daughter is starting school In August and she’s not the best listener yet and my moms worried that she won’t listen to the teacher. Well she’s 2.5 lol

Lol :) our parents seem to remember us growing up so much more quickly. The eye test won't hurt if your worried, but their eyes arnt fully. Developed till 2 so I wouldn't worry. :)

My daughter flinched when she was a newborn. Her startle reflex was incredibly sensitive for the first month and a half of her life. Like the direction of the air flow in the room could have changed and you would have thought someone was jerking her around. Never cried. but that arm would flail!

He does the startled jump and arm flailing when something startles him lol. But he doesn’t really react all the time when you put something in his face

@llcoolkay I think it's normal for them to not really react. I think she just had started following objects. Her startle reflex is there though lol although I think my son had a more sensitive reflex 🤔
