Hey mamas, I have a question. I exclusively breastfeed my daughter so when I’m at work I pump but I only pump enough for her to eat at daycare. Her dads side of the family, his mom more specifically, wants to take her over night or for a full day. I don’t mind her taking my daughter while I’m at work but I don’t want her to take her for a full day or over night because I don’t have enough milk for her to be away from me for so long. Is it a selfish of me to not let her give her formula if she’s still hungry later or to only slow her to take her at the times that I’m working?
Not at all. That’s your decision as her mother. I only gave my son formula as we waited for my milk to come in.

A girl I know just posted THIS on FB... I’m honestly upset by the fact that she thinks being a mom is simple enough that anyone can go back to work after having a baby... I tried going back 6 weeks after and I had panic attacks daily at work, some causing me to pass out. I don’t trust ANYONE other than my mother to watch my daughter because of all of the stuff happening at daycares and with babysitters... (Not to mention she lost custody of her daughter at less than a year old because of drugs a...
Madi is taking ounce after ounce I literally can not keep up. I want to give her rice cereal to keep her full😑
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
So I don’t think I will keep this pregnancy and I don’t know what I’m supposed to do
I think my breastfeeding journey might be coming to an end. A part of me hates breastfeeding and a small part of me loves the bonding time but with me going back to work and her coming with me, I’m stressed! I don’t have enough hours in the day to feed her constantly and pump and clean and take care of the kids and get dinner ready.... I’m just so overwhelmed but I don’t want people to think I’m a quitter or being a bad mom for giving her formula.
I honestly don’t know what to do
She’s only 5 months old you’re not being selfish at all. With me being the way I am I would have been irritated actually 🤷🏼♀️ that’s just me though. I’m a baby lol.
