So since Monday I've had mild period pain babys movements have been fine! So just thought it's all just cause the babys big 4lb4oz! At 30weeks5days at the time I'm 31+3 and my waters broke today at 10.15 I'm in hospital had steroids and must I add it hurt!🤬 I'm on antibiotics I've been having tightnings I'm just scared something bad will happen to my baby they checked his water this morning and he was fine was still alot of water around him it's still leaking as we speak. Has anyone had a baby around 31 and 32 weeks? Was the baby ok? X

I had my son at 32+4 and he’s now 12weeks old.
He was in neonatal unit high dependency for 4 days with a Cannula in to give antibiotics and fluids, ng tube to feed, nut we started bottles at 2days old for 2 feeds. He was in special care just with the sticky monitors on him for 14 days (18 days in total).
He had caffeine as he had a few breath holding moments.
He’s on 1ml iron a day and 0.6lm of abidec (vitamins) a day.
My son was 4lb 10 when he was born and dropped to 4lb 2 and when he left hospital he was back to birth weight and now weighs 12lb 3oz.
The targets for my unit were that they keep them in hospital till 35 weeks gestation and then if they are putting weight on, can feed independently and not throwing it up all the time and can keep their temperature slightly then they can go home. bobby was 35+1 when we left.

My son didn’t need oxygen, just to let you know.
I did have steroids at 24 weeks as I was bleeding from then till 32+4.
I had two lots of magnesium sulphate which helps with brain development, if they say you’ve got to have, prepare for a burning sensation in the Cannula site, it’s not nice but not as bad as the steroid injections.
Take it easy and let the midwives and drs monitor you x
