How many centimeters do you have to be for them to HAVE to keep you? I'm 5cm 80% effaced with contractions every 3 minutes. When I got admitted for monitoring I was 4cm. When I came in at 4cm they were only going to monitor me to see if I progressed any. But now that I'm 5cm they didn't mention what they were going to do now.

I went in at 3 cm. Was having contractions and progressed to 5 with contractions within 2 hours, so they kept me 🤷

If your 5cm and contracting regularly they will keep you. With my first 3 my water was broken before arriving at hospital but my 4th I was only 3cm and contracting strong and regular and they admitted me.
