Labor and delivery basically said if I'm not dying in pain or my water broke that I don't need to come in. 🤷 Guess I'll stay home then and hope laying down again will calm these contractions. It seems any time her weight is on my cervix I'll have contractions. But I'm not in agony even if they are unpleasant enough to rock through. So I suppose staying home is what's up unless my water breaks. Have an NST in the morning and then an OB appointment Thursday, we'll see how things go with those.

I'm going through the same. Basically until I hit the 5-1-1 mark, water breaks, it's unbearably painful or I start heavily bleeding they said stay home. Super frustrating but there isn't a lot they can do at the moment. 😥

anyone would!! They were like get on the bed so you can have this baby and I was yelling like “fuck man no! Fuck! I’m having this fucking baby in the floor” 😂😂😂 had her about 5 mins later

At my hospital tho they have you in the admitting room or birth room which is private you have your baby in there then they send you to your private recovery room till you leave

I’d go in the hell with them they can’t tell you what to do! It’s their job to check you out either way 🤷♀️

@rariszoo I was told the same thing that I wasn't in enough pain and come back if the contractions stayed constant like they were. They told me I could hang out at the hospital and they would check me in 2 hours or I could go home. I decided I would go get dinner and come back. As I got up to get dressed my water broke and my daughter came less than 30 minutes later. They also told me that the contractions meant nothing because I was only 3cm and 90% effaced so my daughter wouldn't come till the next day. I knew something was going on but since I wasn't crying in pain they pretty much didn't care.

They say that because if you aren’t progressing enough then they might need the room for someone who is in pain and they know the baby could come in any min. I would rather labor at home in my bed and do something like clean up to get distracted then to wait it out in an uncomfortable bed at the hospital. They won’t put you in a real room unless they know your fully in labor and ready to have to baby.
