how much weight had you mommas gained by 21 weeks pregnant? im trying to see if what i have gained is normall and if i have been doing good. dr only wants me to gain 11 to 20 pounds this entire pregnancy.

I think maybe around 12lbs? I only gained 28lbs total the last time.

thanks. im considered obese so thats why my dr said only 11 to 20 pounds the entire pregnancy. i have only gained 6 thus far but i am trying my hardest to stay active and eat and drink healthy and right.

I don’t remember how much I gained by 21 weeks. But I only gained 22 pounds my entire pregnancy

With my first, I probably gained 14 by then lol and my second I didn't gain at that point yet. However they wanted me to gain only like 20lbs. First time I gained 32lbs and second time I gained 34lbs lol

it really is. I mean I wouldn't beat myself up about it. I ended up at 214 with my daughter. I started at 180. I feel everyone's body is different, and everyone puts on weight differently. especially pregnancy. I remember once I ate like what, a bowl of cereal before an appointment and my doctor was like "woah you gained 3lbs in a week?" I'm like, I actually ate before I came, you don't think that's water weight? Or heck idk the food i put in my body? I mean on top of it I was carrying a 9lbs baby lol but they can just be so condescending and cruel sometimes it sucks

In my opinion, If your doctor tells your how much you should gain, I think it's time for a new doc.

Idk because I can't temember. But as of rn I´ve gained 28 maybe more. I'll find out this Thursday
