So I’m talking to my mom about a job I’m applying to at a private catholic college which one of the benefits is dependents get into the adjacent private middle/high school for free and free college IF accepted. Damn right I’ll be a custodian til I retire just for my kids educational benefit. Just gotta work there 5 years before getting that benefit, and by that time my oldest will be in the starting grade.
Her response??? Going off about how evil Catholicism is and comparing it the the “devil worshiping” (her words) Muslims 😳🙄

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
So I wanted to name my daughter Serenity & then my brother & parents called me after they had a whole house meeting saying the name “wouldn’t get her a job”.. now I’m back to square one 🙄
I just got a job as a custodian at a court house and the benefits are great healthcare for baby and I is a 100 a month and the pay to start is 17 a hr which is pretty good for my area. As long as it pays the bills and then some be proud :)
