So a little over 3 months ago I got the IUD. They said my periods would be weird for a couple months... but I am bleeding three weeks out of a month. Still. Not sure if that’s normal or not lol. But it’s more annoying than my periods before. And they were bad.

I had this issue with the depo shot and with mirena. I bled for almost 12 months because I kept being told that eventually my body would adjust. I learned that my body just isn’t compatible with synthetic hormones.

Any kind of birth control messes with your period for a while. I was on the pill for over a decade and remember having my period twice some months and for weeks at a time. I think it took me about 2 years for my period to be regular and it was still heavy and ten days long. Good luck dear!

that would be me lol I’ve been on the combo pill, mini pill and IUD and no issues ever. Except for getting pregnant on the mini pill but that could have been my fault if I took a dose late or something
