I would use a mesh cuz the risk is way slighter but if your baby knows how to move his head and body n stuff but ppl say it’s bad so I guess but I mean your kids legs or arms snapping is better than ur child suffocating
Technically no. There should never be anything other then a sheet. Now mother speaking and im not saying to do as i did, i bought the mesh and weaved it extremly tight around the crib. He kept waking up screaming from his legs being stuck and one night it took and hour for his leg to warm back up from loss or circulation. So for me i did. I dont suggest you do. I also kept the bumper pads that came with the set i bought and ended putting those at the top of his crib because he had started chewing it.

I did around 6 months, now she’s 11 months and I’ve never had any issues.

No love, it's highly recommended that you do not put anything in or around the baby crib. It has been found to increase the risk of suffocation.

It is safer than bumpers but still not recommended by the SIDS foundations. Just a mattress and a tightly fitted sheet is all that should be in there.
