So I'm 26 weeks this week.
My boyfriend wants me to stop working and for him to work all day now. Idk about that..
My 6 year old daughter will be out of school so I'll be with her literally ALL DAY alone smh 🤦♀️ 😩
*update: let's clear this up.. I'm not complaining about spending time with my daughter smh 😂
I don't like being alone with her because I can't do all like I usually do with being pregnant. We play and have fun together with limitations but she deserves to have time to do other activities and interact with others on a different level as well. My amazing boyfriend usually steps in where I'm lacking right now and school helps with the social component. I'll try and do my best to get her out and all of course, but it's summer and I'm in my third trimester almost. I'm slowing down😩😪🤦♀️
Some people like it, some don't. I'm not one to be able to sit at home. I get bored and feel lazy lmao
I work in education and have the whole summer off. My daughter still asked to go to summer camp for a couple of weeks, and I said absolutely! Its not like I didn’t want to be around her or she didn’t want to be around me or her little sister. She just wanted to do something fun for kids her age, and it is good for children to continue to have that structure and interaction with other children their age over the summer.
Yes exactly! Especially as they age. After age 1 they should be doing something engaging with others.. Even if it's a couple days a week. People just want to make it seem as if you're supposed to smother your kids (they may call it being "caring" or "cautious" Lol) and you're a bad parent if you mention your kid being away from you smh 😂
@rese, I’ve always thought it’s about the quality of time you spend with your kids, not the quantity. They will remember all of the good memories and how your relationship was, not if you spent all day everyday with them or not.
@bookwormmommy, exactly! Memories are what matters in all relationships. You can't help the fact that you won't spend all day everyday with your kids.
I totally get it 😂. I would do it, but enroll her in a summer camp. Churches usually have a free vacation bible school open to non-members, you could check out your local rec center for affordable options as well. She would probably love it and it would give you a break. She’s at the age where she can tell you if somethings not right, so that would give peace of mind. Of course there are tons of other summer options, just depending on budget. The libraries by me have summer programs, you would still need to be there with her, but it would be an activity where she was with her peers.
Yeah I will probably see what activities (indoors as much as possible Lol) that we can do together anyways. Try and not stay in the house as much.
It’s your daughter.... who else would be with her??
@scx, yeah because it's true 👏. Trolls just want to make it seem like you're being a bad parent or something because you say something about being away from your kid lmao
My daughter isn't a little infant / toddler anymore. I can't just smother her😂. As much as I'd love to say i can, i can't give her all that she needs anymore... That stopped when she came off of the nipple. Lol She has to experience life and learn and grow. We have our limitations and boundaries, we know our goals and lifestyle, and our bond is amazing! That's all that matters.
@mychemicalshaymance, my apologies then. It wasn't your question that was of concern, it was your assumption that I don't and won't have appropriate time with my daughter that seemed amiss.
If you can afford it I would do it. It gives you some time to bond before the new baby comes
Yeah, don't get me wrong. I love my daughter. And I stress bonding with her more now than ever for that very reason. BUT all day alone is a lot. Lol I could tolerate a newborn now being pregnant rather than a 6 year old. Its exhausting lmao 🤣
@thekingsdaughter, oh cool! I'm a personal trainer as well. I'm just not currently training after relocating and not starting my business up in this market (smaller market)
What I mean is you do SOMETHING that gives you a mental break Lol
I may look into training here even though it means like less than half of what I was charging 😂. Just to do something
@rese, that a great option! It would at least give you an outlet. The market is so flooded right now. Everyone and their brother is a pt🤦🏼♀️ i have my degree because I wanted to have an edge. That’s something worth checking into also
@thekingsdaughter, yeah. And where I live now is so low income (in my opinion) people are cheap Lol they don't care about their fitness 🤦♀️. Degree in what? I already hold a bachelors (in engineering/ mathematics) so I'd have to pay to get another degree which... Hmm... Idk Lol
I’m a stay at home too and sometimes I feel like I don’t interact with adults 😂😭
@yesica, yeah. They talk your head off!!! Lmao 😂
@rese, I’m waiting for the stage where they go like “mom, Mami, mother, mama,” “can I get this, how about this”
@yesica, yeahhhh.... Just wait! 🤣. Let's talk in 5 years. See if you feel the same way lmao
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
