I doubt it. How close are you to 18. Will you be contributing to the household with that family or just another mouth to feed. Talk to your parents and his parents about this before you do it

17 is still young . I would ask permission first so there wouldn’t be any problems.

You can try to become emancipated but it may be difficult. In my state I was emancipated when I had my daughter and legally moved out at 17.

In texas though you need consent to move out at 17.

I desperately wanted to move out all my teenage years. I’m also in Texas legally you’re not allowed to leave without consent until you’re 18 years of age. I got lucky and was kicked out at 17 😅
