My daughter has been with her dad for 24 hours and now my boobs are rocks it hurts so bad I can't even nap while she ain't here lol. I refuse to pump what else can I do ladies

If they are rock hard you can get mistitis I got it after missing 2 feeding sessions I almost had to be hospitalized

Wow that sucks. How did they treat you? Usually I can go a 2-3 days with her being over there no problem but this time I filled up much faster than usual.

@dankerson, I was given heavy antibiotics in the hospital they wanted to keep me over night because my fever was almost 105 but I refused to stay so they gave me hella antibiotics and sent me home

Is there anything I can do besides pump? I haven't pumped in months and honestly I'm to lazy to go find it, clean the parts and sit there and pump milk that she won't drink. I just wanna nap tbh

Your milk WILL start to decrease if you just leave your boobs like that @dankerson

@dankerson bind your boobs tightly, put hot or cold compressions on them, take a hot shower and hand express 💕 this all worked for me when I gave birth to my daughter, my milk came in 2 days after I lost her, took 2 weeks of excruciating pain but it's over for now😊

@dankerson I also pumped but I pumped for about 15 minutes got more than 5oz for a few days and then I started pumping 10 minutes getting 3oz for a few days and I went down to 5 minutes pumping 1 oz for a few days and then I just completely stopped pumping, no more milk to be produced

You risk losing your supply if you don't pump. Milk is a supply and demand thing. If your body thinks your baby needs less, its going to start making less.

@dankerson When I was weaning, I would pump for like 2 or 3 minutes a few times a day to get a little relief. I slowly decreased how often I would do that in a day, and it worked like a charm. After about 2 to 3 weeks I was producing nada and all was back to normal.

@motherofwildlings that's so smart. I'd do that if I didn't hate the pump so much. I was mostly pumping for a long time and I don't miss it at all. Going to have to just suck it up cos I don't want an infection

@dankerson, I just recently had a milk blister and it was awful! I’m so glad it’s gone now. Yes an infection, you could get a clogged duct and that’ll cause infection.

@amberdaugherty when I had mine nursing would make me cry so I had to hand Express and gently pump till it went away. An infection is the very last thing I need towards the end of this journey tho
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
