Can anyone describe what your water leaking feels like? I got up today (late) at around 11:20 after being awake most of the night. Got up to start making tea like I do every day and while I did that felt a little trickle during what felt like Braxton Hicks. Went to pee and that was normal at least but noticed a lot of mucus plug but wetter if that makes sense? Like it was mucus plug and other discharge. Well I thought I'd wait and see if it happened again. And it did a few minutes later but was more mucus plug and discharge. Decided to get in the shower and before that more tightness and leaking enough to "splatter on the floor" again not sure if it's pee since it's only happening when there's pressure from the tightening feeling and maybe it could be pushing on my bladder? I got out of the shower and have a pad on now and waiting to see if it happens more.

When mine broke with my daughter I thought I had peed myself 😂 I woke up and sat up to go to the bathroom and it trickled out. I ended up going to the bathroom to try going and Everytime I took a big step it would come out. By the time we were at the hospital it had soaked through my pad and pants and looked like I peed myself. With my son I went to the bathroom and when I sat down it broke. There was a good bit that time though. It would leak when I say down or applied pressure to my stomach. I was mucusy when it happened with him. But I wasn't with my daughter it was just liquid. I would call l&d and let them know what happened and see what they say. Put a pad on too it's easier to tell how much is coming out with a pad on.

Call your OB/L&D. It should be odorless and straw colored. Possibly blood or mucus plug.. If it’s not odorless or it has color other than blood, go to L&D ASAP.

My water broke with 2 of my babies. Both were different flows of amniotic fluid. I didn’t get any contractions with one either.

When my water broke I was told to lie down for 20-30mins, then stand up and if there was a gush to call back. It definitely sounds like your water though.

When my water broke it was at the same time my son kicked me super hard. I was already at the hospital laying in bed. It was a HUGE gush, like I peed myself but 3x more liquid. I could slow the trickle by doing a kegal but couldn’t stop it. Your water could be leaking though.
