My husband does not understand suicidal depression. Which iv been diagnosed with sever suicidal depresstion iv been resisting on cutting in trying to get better but oh been craving the knife for over a week it is driving me crazy 😭

@katelynn well we all need to take time for our mental health. Mental health is very important. Discuss it with your husband. I'm sure he'd rather you better yourself than go let it bottle up.

Have you been put on any meds to help? We have a family friend his granddaughter did for yrs and was sent to a hospital for help and has been 4 yrs since she hurt herself

Yes iv been on many diffrent ones since I was 8 years old none helps some made ne even worse and one made me mean I would black out and say stuff that I didn't remember on a few hours now one one wants to give me any meds for any of my mental problems

What is everyone craving? Ive been doing pretty good up until today. Craved a taco salad so of course had it, then ran errands and suddenly had a real urge for a bic mac. I think I can say I should be done eating for today. First time Ive been like that

THIS MAY BE A TRIGGER, SO PROCEED WITH CAUTION Suicide Do you know of anyone who has threatened suicide as a manipulation tactic? Like maybe they are suicidal ( or have been in the past) but sometimes they threaten it just to get you to do something? If this happens, do you ever think maybe this time they are for real?

If you're struggling this much I suggest going to an in patient program. If you voluntarily go, you can leave when you feel ready to leave. They have great group sessions, therapists and help find a way to help you personally.
