Thinking about using a birth plan has anyone used one

My plan was natural and no epidural that's it. I know plans change so I'm not going to type one out and try to stick to it. 🤷🏻‍♀

in my head i did. my only plan was to get the baby out lol. the way i went into labor, my birth plan wouldn’t have worked. i ended up going to L&D and swore I was going home that night, ended up having my baby 6 hours later. my husband showed up after an hour of me being there, I WAS gonna go natural but I could not handle the pain, my epidural didn’t work anyway soo. 🙄

Yep I had one and honestly....I didnt have time or the desire to bring it up whn i was time to push. Nice to have but dont depend on it actually goin the way you want it. The only thing on my list that actually happened was it was me and my husband in there and the music that he played for me.... I didnt think about my son staying connected to the placenta until after the cord was cut lol. It just all went so fast and I was eager to hear his cry. Oh I did hold him right after he was delivered so ...3 things.

Like they say: it doesn’t hurt to have one, but it hurts if you think you’ll strictly stick to it. Things change. Every delivery is different. But, it doesn’t hurt!
