The creams are usually just to soothe the itch they won't clear the infection. Hence why you need either tablet/pessary. It will clear within a day or two max

I agree with above get the pessary or oral tablet. As above said if you buy fluconazole rather than the Canestan brand it's sooo much cheaper

Im not sure tbh best asking the pharmacist for advice when buying it or just switch to the combo

You can use both together they come as a combo

But can I use the cream that goes inside then few days later use the pessery?

The cream didnt work for me had to use the pessary

My son was prescribed fluconazole for oral thrush. My sister was prescribed the same for yeast infection. It seems to work.

Erm I've used the cream that's for external and internal but don't think I can use anything inside if I've already used something in there lol xxx
