How soon will they start you on IV antibiotics if you tested positive for group b strep?

Mine were immediately started as soon as I was in labor.

I think it’s like 4hrs of antibiotics that’s recommended.

You got to let them know as soon as you're in labour so they can get it ready for you

They started mine right away when I was induced with my second. They wouldn’t break my water until I had a couple doses of it to prevent any infection.
