Would you ladies call it cheating if your fiancé was talking to their ex (friendly or not) while telling you they aren’t?
Disclaimer: Not about myself I’m married but it is about someone I know and they recently found out their spouse is doing this.

Yup i don’t consider sex as the only form of cheating - if my husband was texting his ex GF and lying about it - obviously there is something to hide maybe he catchin feelings and stuff - which is also cheating ( emotional cheating )

I don’t know if I would call it cheating, but it’s definitely disrespectful and unacceptable 🙅🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️. Especially lying about it. Now if their text was flirty, then I would call it cheating. But I would not put up with communicating with an ex at all, unless they had kids together. Friendly or not!

It’s not necessarily cheating, but I deffinetly wouldn’t be okay with that. If you have to delete messages, or hide you’re talking there’s a reason for it.

I don't think I'd consider it cheating, but the lying about it would be a major red flag. That would be enough for me to end the relationship though.

It’s close enough lol closer than they should ever get to cheating. Trust is a HUGE thing. That’s just not ok.

Yes. Lying about it is what would set me off. But it definitely depends on the situation. My fiance's best friends girlfriend (who is my best friend) has been with my fiance before. I don't have a problem with him going to hang out while I'm at work or whatever. But it's been a long time since they were together and I trust them both. She has two kids with his best friend. But if he was talking to just her and I asked him not to I'd be pissed.

Um yes ! There's no reason for anyone to talk to their ex. My kids father used to talk to his ex all the time and he would say they were just friends until I found out that every time he went to his country , he would be with her. She would post pictures and tag him but he would delete them so I wouldn't see them. Then I found messages of them.
