Does anyone else’s spouses have Sleep Apnea? If so, can you please message me. I just need someone to talk to and have some questions about it.
My husband has it really, really bad, until he had gastric sleeve surgery done. Now it’s still there, but not as severe. His pulmonologist said it was the worst he had ever seen
@twinmommy1717, he slept on the couch for 3 years because I couldn’t sleep with his snoring. He would fall asleep on the couch whenever he sat down and in the car whenever he wasn’t driving. I hear what you’re saying about not feeling bad for him. If he’s not willing to help himself, then why help him? Luckily mild won’t hurt him too bad, too quickly. My husbands was so severe he was at risk of dying in his sleep and had to sleep sitting up until his cpap machine came in
@lizibear84, my husband does the exact same thing (the couch & driving). It makes me so nervous when he has to take our kids somewhere because I’m so worried he’s going to crash because he can’t keep his eyes open. We were sitting outside earlier.. I was working on the flower bed while the kids played and he seriously about fell asleep sitting up on the porch. Sometimes I feel bad for being mean to him about it but it makes me feel so alone. I feel like a single mom sometimes & feel like he’s just my roommate because even though he’s here, it feels like he’s really not most of the time. 😢 did your husband just let his go for that long or how did his become so bad? The doctor gave my husband the option of a dental appliance, cpap machine or to lose 10% of his body weight which he is convinced will cure it. But my husband doesn’t wanna lose weight. He’s not even a big guy at all.
@twinmommy1717, he had always snored, but as he gained weight it got worse. He was obese when he was diagnosed. The sleep study was actually part of his pre-op testing for the gastric sleeve. As soon as he started gaining weight, it got worse. It’s genetic for him though. His whole family snores. Now he only really snores when his allergies/asthma is acting up, or when he’s super stressed
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

My husband has it pretty bad. He has a sleep machine set to the highest setting possible.
Before his sleep machine, he fell asleep just about anywhere. He now sleeps well at night and doesn’t snore unless he’s truly exhausted himself. He now rarely sleeps during the day.
