Almost a week past my due date. Considering a c-section because being induced I feel like will prolong it and end a c-section anyways since it runs in the family (literally the same thing happens to all us girls).......thoughts???

They are inducing me as well and told me to plan on it probably ending in csection. They said my pelvis just isn’t big enough. She never dropped, even a little and my cervix is still rock hard. I kinda wish they would just pull the trigger instead of risking me being in labor for however long they decide, before they change their mind to do a csection anyway

I hear you, but I’m still not even dilated or had any contractions plus with gestational diabetes she’s only getting bigger at the end of the day. I have family who’s willing to help and all that so that’s no problem I just don’t want anything bad to happen.

I was induced after my water started leaking (my contractions weren’t helping me progress) and I was able to push my guy out just fine. I’ve heard c section recovery can be harder which has always made me fear them.

I would personally wait til baby is ready. You never know it could happen any second. A c section recovery and taking care of a newborn I feel is difficult than recovering from a vaginal delivery. But I didn’t get the chance to give birth vaginally. And I wish I did and am hoping I can this time around. I’d wait for baby to tell you when it’s time
