I have poison ivy so bad I don’t even want to leave the house I have it on my face arms my belly my legs everywhere but my back and private area and I feel like it’s just getting worse I’m on steroids and I have to more days of that and I feel like it’s not helping what so ever I have the lotion, baking soda, tea tree oil, been doing everything your suppose to I look like I’m on drugs and I just dig at my skin I was pulling weeds and stuff last Saturday (25th) didn’t notice until Tuesday(28th) that my arm was starting to break out I asked my boyfriend before I said is there any poison ivy he said no after I found out that’s what it was he goes I’m not a poison ivy expert 🙄 then someone tells me that if you take hot showers it makes it worse 😭😭😭 I’m just over this

Try getting a wash cloth as hot as you can stand it and put it on wherever your itching. My grandma always didn't his and swears it helps. I'm not affected by poison ivy for some reason but she got it on a trip one time and she said it was the only thing that helped.
I guess only most people are allergic to it but there’s some that are lucky & I heard that hot makes it worse because that’s also what I’ve been doing is getting In the shower while super hot then when I get out put stuff on it but I’ll try that :)
@angelhicks53 I get hives and I know hot water irritates them. Hopefully you find some kind of relief. You have to be miserable!
@catfish2220, thank you and yes very I’m wearing long sleeves and pants just so I don’t look at me and itch them my face is getting worse everytime I look in the mirror 🤦♀️

Oo I’m hoping that’s not the case but it doesn’t seem to be going away I just order some stuff off amazon to see if that helps I’m just worried I’m going have this baby early and I’m not going be able to breastfeed bc I have it all over my boobs or something
@angelhicks53 girl I can just look at poison ivy and catch it, I swear. Hopefully the stuff you ordered clears it up! If not go get some cream from the doc, it worked and was dried up within 4 days for me. Try not to scratch (I say as I scratched the hell outta myself!)
@vanilla_momma, my legs really ain’t bothering me it’s my stomach and arms that are and face they gave me steroids bc they said that would work faster then the cream she also said it doesn’t spread but I feel like that’s a damn lie bc I don’t remember touching everywhere with my hands that day I washed my hands soon as I got done
