Are your boobs supposed to hurt the whole time you breastfeed or does it eventually stop the longer you do it? This is my third day and I can't stand how my boobs feel 😫

Ugh it’s my 3rd day too and my boobs are killing me! I finally started using my nipple shields because one of my nipples has a blood blister on it so to help it heal I’ve been using the nipple shield at every other feeding but my son absolutely hates the nipple shield so it makes things a little bit more difficult.
That's where I'm at! Feeling more hopeful because people are saying it should feel better soon
@miss_understood, me too, last night I felt like giving up but I didn’t thankfully!
It went away super quick for me . I’ve heard people say it’s hurt for a month. But definitely not for me . Hopefully not for you either
@miss_understood I liked heat. I couldn't wait to take a hot shower 😄 There are cooling pads for your nipples that might help.
Mine were really sore the first week. Massage them and run them under the shower water!
They won't hurt after like 2 weeks... the first 2 weeks are by far the hardest
A week or two. Keep trying to get that perfect latch! Just hang in there, it'll be worth it 😊

@miss_understood yeah I remember someone telling me its gonna be an issue the whole time so i stocked up on lanolin and only ended up using 1 tube... 😊

Boobs if you breastfeed?? I breastfeed and my husband made a comment that he wanted to grab my boobs and lick my nipples (tmi) and I felt grossed out and told him my boobs are food and I won't let him near them. Lol. Just wondering if boob grabbing/licking is off limits if you breastfeed.

Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter.
