I think I’m going to try to learn how to cook and bake as a hobby to make time go faster . I’m 18 so I know nothing about either of those . Do you ladies know any beginner meals I could cook which might be easy at first ? Also if you’re pregnant or when you were pregnant what hobby did you pick up to make time go faster ?
@hollyerinbrazzell, check out he King Arthur version. I have tried the Dutch oven method and was not as happy as the kind Arthur flour version
Mash potatoes ground beef and corn ... not in that order but also in layers .
I love mashed potato’s and corn as side dishes !!! Being from the south those are definitely staple items . I’m gonna have to learn how to make homemade mashed potatoes cause those are my fav!!!
Pesto chicken is also super easy!
Or pasta. Any type of pasta
But pesto chicken
You spray a 13*9 pan with non stick spray.
Pre heat oven to 400
Add 3-4 chicken breasts. Cover with a jar of pesto (located by spaghetti sauce in groceries)
Add 1 slice 🍅
Cover in mozerella
Bake 30-40 minutes
(I also add a cup of mixed veggies, drizzled in olive oil or the leftover pesto and place around the chicken)
Wow that seems super easy and good . I’m gonna have to cook that for the fam one night thank you
@hollyerinbrazzell
I forgot to add. I always use boneless. If it has bones it'll probably take longer.
Pesto chicken is favorite around here!
Make no knead bread. That’s really fun easy and rewarding
