Can I just rant for a minute? Let me preface this with a disclaimer that I could never rehome my dogs as they are part of the family and I do love them.
I literally CANT with these dogs. We have three and they literally never sit still. They never shut up. I just want to take a quiet bath with nobody around and they bark at the door or cry or whine or pace all around. OMG JUST GO AWAY. People say they feel this way about their kids but if this was my daughter at least I would understand more as she can’t do anything for herself. But good lord you are a dog that has been fed and just went to the bathroom and have been played with and loved now GO AWAY and let me beeeeeeeee.

Like literally people say they get this way when they need a break from the kids. But currently I get a break from my daughter starting at 7:30 each night but I still never get a break. 😑

@alyssa5792, haha, I know! Once my son is in bed, it’s prime time for cat shenanigans! And if my husband isn’t home, the one that’s more attached to him sits in front of the door and howls. 😩🤦🏼♀️

I LOVE my pets to death too but I totally understand! Sometimes I just need a damn break from them too!

@alyssa5792 My mom's dogs are like this. She can't even walk around her house without them at her feet barking and jumping. If she goes into the bathroom they are right outside the door panting loud as hell until she comes out🤦♀️. They are enough to give her a nervous breakdown too

Do you have any treats that will keep them busy for a few hours? My boys are super clingy and have terrible separation anxiety from me. I ruined them. I try to make sure I have something I can give them to get them off my back for a few hours that they can't resist. I know you're annoyed right now also but that picture of the 3 of them has me cracking up. They look so guilty 😂

@alyssa5792 Awe little old man. Oh my gosh hahaha beagles are such handfuls. I grew up with basset hounds and they're so similar. I swear they love to cause the most trouble. My basset shiba mix will get through antlers and things but we do have good luck with water buffalo horns. Has to be the large one. That lasted a good 3 weeks before it was damaged enough to take away. They don't splinter as easily as the antlers do for some reason. A little pricey but worth a go if you can keep him busy and leave it with him so he doesn't tantrum. 🙄😂 hopeful you haven't tried them yet

one time I bought “bull pizzle” bc it was cheap and looked ok. I bring it home and my fiancé was like “why did you buy him bull penis?!” 😂😂
I haven’t tried the buffalo horns. This may be something to try. Thank you for the suggestions and talking me down off the edge of that cliff. Lmao

@alyssa5792 I almost bought that one and realized it was a bull penis right before I ordered. 😂 So yucky. Of course. I know how they can be. Mine are very similar to having constant toddlers. 🙃
