If you scheduled for someone to come to your house for an estimate and they showed up an hour early after confirming the time just a few hours ago, would you be annoyed? I appreciate a good plan and being on time. Early is nice and all, but a whole hour? And the woman seemed frustrated with me that she has to come back at our planned time. 🙃

Completely agree. A courtesy call to see if we were available would've been totally fine. Showing up on my door step, not so much.
