I got checked for an ectopic pregnancy since I’ve had one in the past and it’s not ectopic but they also did my hcg levels on Friday and they were at 3500 and today they are at 6100.. that’s 3 days and not doubling. It is in the average level for where I’m at in the pregnancy (5w3d) but was wondering if anyone else had a normal pregnancy without their levels doubling every 48 hours??? I’m stressed about it. They are rechecking on Wednesday but that feels so far away 😭
Mine didn't double with my last pregnancy. They went to slow like yours. Everything was fine, and my babygirl is now 11 weeks old.
This is what I’m hoping for. I’ve seen some people say that theirs was slow as well and it was fine and then others with a similar situation had losses 😭 I am hoping everything is okay!! I will get another blood draw on Monday.
@megankokes it's nerve-wracking for sure. Especially when you go every few days for blood work and the numbers aren't doubling. My Dr told me tho as long as the numbers are going up, everything will be fine. I held onto that. I had a miscarriage 3 mths before I got pregnant with my daughter so I had every fear possible that something would happen. It'll be ok, mama. Stay positive and try not to stress.
Hcg only went up 15 percent in 48 hours this time. Doctor said there’s high chances of a loss but they’re not going to do an ultrasound until the 17th if I don’t lose it before then.
they dont always double. At the minimum it should go up 50% and thats what its doing. You're levels are way higher than anyone I know including myself. I was in the 1000s at 6 weeks. Try to do whatever you can to relax.
Sounds OK to me. I had a unhealthy pregnancy and healthy ones my unhealthy raised like 800 950 every 2 days
It doesn’t always double. They would have to do 1-2 more blood test to get a better idea of what’s going on. The good thing is that the fetus is not in your tubes. Stay positive.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
❤️Getting to know you❤️
Since our May group is growing strong and we have a lot of new mommies joining and sharing their bfp's...Thought it will be fun to get to know each other as we all share our pregnancy journey!
My doctor called today and had me come in for an ultrasound because she was worried about the pregnancy not progressing and there was a heartbeat! So everything is good for now! 🤞🏻🥰
