So excited!!! Went last week to get a sneak peek clinical test done and it came with an ultrasound too. Ultrasound was able to determine gender but since we took a blood sample too we were waiting on the results to confirm the ultrasound was correct. All results and images were sent to my dad since my husband and I want to be surprised at our gender reveal, and as of this morning the blood test confirmed the ultrasound! 12 days until we find out if we are having a boy or girl!! 😍❤️

I’m 19 weeks but I was 18 weeks when I did my test/ultrasound. The sneak peek test is supposed to work anytime after 9 weeks but I would recommend paying the extra and doing the clinical instead of the at home version if you’re worried about cross contamination with male dna. With the clinical it’s done by a phlebotomist and it goes straight from vein to vial and you don’t have to worry about “did I scrub my hands/counter/etc” enough to get the male dna off of it.

I was 14 weeks pregnant. They can detect the gender early through a blood test because the chromosomes show up :)
