I didn't find out the gender until my son was born and my whole family including my husband were mad about it. But that's what I wanted and my dr even told my husband that's her choice, not yours 😂

I’d tell them to get over it because he/she is your child not theirs. 🤷🏻♀️ When they have a baby they can do what they want with their child but until then they need to keep their mouth shut about what you do with your child.

Honestly it’s really frustrating when people insert themselves into your pregnancy and make it about them. I would do it for my DH if it meant a lot to him but I would want him to understand that I feel upset ab everyone else making it ab them.

If they are planning it and paying for it I would do it just for my husband. As women we get to feel and experience pregnancy in a different way. This is something he gets to look forward to and enjoy. I would still find out what the baby is and plan the “reveal” aspect. This way I’m the only one that knows and my husband would get to be surprised.

@amareenakiaa, hell no! That is up to you. That can be your little secret. When we found out our baby was a boy we kept it to ourselves for 6 weeks. Every one in my family wanted to know because we have all girls.. I kept it to myself until I felt like it.
@gris0723, I just don’t like when someone tries to FORCE some on me if I say no more than once it’s NO.

@amareenakiaa, I totally understand. My in laws are that way. They always try to make us do things. My husband always reminds them that they can’t tell us what to do. There’s a reason why we are married and have our own home.

@mombie. Then they can throw one for themselves and stop trying to force her to wait to find out the gender of the baby that SHE is carrying and that SHE is pushing out. Plain and simple. She doesn't want one, she doesn't need to have one just for the sake of others. We are our own people and we don't have to please others regardless of their relationship to us.
