Working for home health they sometimes tell u about the client and sometimes don’t or what u have to do so when u arrive and not sure on how to change a catheter and if the are Bedbound or us a lift. I really think it’s is important for the worker to know what to expect going into peoples Home🤷♀️so u wouldn’t have any surprises. But hay that is just want I think because it does involve your safety and the clients.

I believe it depends on the company you work for love. Back when I was a HHA we were informed about the client beforehand. If you accepted the client their folder was presented to you along with there also being a profile folder at their home. In this field though you just always have to be prepared and should definitely have the right training. Maybe you could run your thoughts by management because there's always room to grow😉

A hha should not be changing out catheters that’s a nurses job. Your suppose to be trained on equipment before using it or else you can be sued if injury occurred.
