My son looks a little older than 8 months but still clearly not even a year old yet and every restaurant we go to the servers offer him candy and cookies and such 🤦♀️

I had a lady cutting my son’s hair shove a lollipop in his mouth without asking me first. This was after she judged my parenting. I almost punched her in the throat.

Holy shit I would lose it. At least they hand the sweets to me first and I just end up eating them. That is crossing the line 😤

I’ve never had a server even come to the table with a sweet for him without even asking .

I don’t understand people. I never offer let alone just hand someone’s kid ANYTHING without asking first. Im so scared of allergies & choking, id never forgive myself if I caused a child & their parents to go through all that. I can’t lie, I would flip out cause my daughter has a chocking issue with some things & there’s a lot she hasn’t even tried yet so I don’t know if she would have an allergy. So I would be PISSED if someone just took it upon themselves to hand them something. I’d only be pissed because of fear & I know that. They’re just trying to be nice, but it’s instinct & I really can’t be TOO sorry for just trying to protect my kid. & I feel like it should kinda be common sense to NOT hand a child something without asking the parent first.
