Ok I need some advice! I have my 1st godchild's birthday coming up. Her mom asked if I could buy her cake, I told her yes....not knowing what kind of cake she wanted! For the design it's $100, the child is only making 1. Idk about yall but I have 4 kids and none of them had a birthday party only gatherings at my house with cake and ice cream. I have NEVER spent $100 just on a damn cake. I want to tell her no I'm not paying for it, but I don't want to seem cheap. I just feel that's too damn much for just a cake. I'd rather get her an outfit made for less of that price! What yall think??

That's what I'm thinking too man I just don't like telling ppl no but shit if she know that many ppl going she can handle that & let me pay for something cheaper like her outfit or something. I cant tell her what to do for her kids bday but as of me I would never ask anyone to pay that much for a cake godparent or not
@gion.92, Has she even looked into the cakes and how many they will feed?? I mean they tell you write on them. That's overly excessive! I wouldn't ask anyone to pay for a cake that expensive!
And a smash cake is included so basically she will have her own cake!

People don’t realize that tiered cakes are for feeding HUGE groups of people. Maybe let her know that as well.

is that what she wants? If you have a sams club or walmart you can take them a design and see what they can make and it'll be cheaper
Yes this is what she's asking me to get. And she doesn't want that, she specifically want this one. I just feel that's biggity when I offered to pay for the cake. My aunt makes cakes so that's why I agreed on doing it bc I know she wasnt going to charge that much
I think you should offer to give her however much you’re comfortable with towards the cake.
That may be a plan too, but I feel they're trying to keep up with everybody now a days with these fancy cakes. I could get her outfit made and buy her clothes and shoes for $100
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
Really thinking about getting the arm implant birth control dont know what it called. Any ladies that have had it or have it what is yalls feed back i know everybody's bodys are different just eant to get an overall feed back. Only thing that really worries me is that it can move.
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
