Okay so I never did train my daughter to fall asleep on her own, and she's two weeks shy of being 1. I'm wanting to start training her to fall asleep for her naps on her onw (versus nursing to sleep and then sleeping on me while she naps)
Any tips? I don't want her to cry herself to sleep, so am I just hopelessly grasping at a dream?
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It...
What I’ve done with my son and now doing with my daughter is laying them down when drowsy, very heavy eyes. My trick is patients, move very slowly not to startle babe.
