I never expected that my biggest issue with teaching my kid to drive is that he’d be the most timid, scared driver ever. Getting him to go above 20 mph is like pulling teeth 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️. And the over excessive braking. It’s like he’s driving a manual but can’t and stalls. Nope. Just an automatic 🙄😬😆😆

We are almost 6 months in to him driving. So. I’m kind of annoyed at this point 😆😆.

Give him time lol! That was me too... my first driving lesson went a lot like you have described here 😁

he’s already taken drivers ed once 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️😆😆😆😆. This kid. I love him. But lord help me with the driving. I need him to drive himself to school next year.

I guess he'll have to leave early to make it to school on time then 🤣 it'll come I'm sure! Just takes longer for some people to get comfortable...

I’m glad I gave him a full year at least. They let them get their permits here at 15 if they are enrolled into a drivers ed program. So he did that for 6 months (failed the freeway portion 🤦🏼♀️ so he has to retake it) and his birthday is in Oct. so he’s got 4 months to get it together 😆😆😆

Omg hahah well at least he's cautious and he cares what you think. Remind him driving too slow can get him a ticket too 😉😂

The honking from other drivers is bad enough 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️😂😂😆😆

🤣🤣 -16 but will be 17 in July and I need to get him to practice drive but it scares me so bad

Thankfully most of our roads are 25-35 and you can get anywhere without going above that or hitting the freeway. But, I mean. Still. Like. He can’t just not ever go on the freeway 😆😆😆😂
