Do they admit you if you’re dilated to a 5cm? Not sure how that works.

My OB told me she had a woman walk around her last 2 weeks of being pregnant at a 7! 😱 because she refused to get her water broken. I mean I get going natural but yikes that's nerve-wracking! She juuuust barely made it to the hospital on time to have the baby.

4cm and progressively dilating even then they gave me pitocin to help get labor started

My doctor keeps you at 5. But I know a lot of doctors do things differently.

My hospital would keep you if you were in avmctive labor at a 5. Otherwise they typically would send ya home.
