Is there a history of DS, ED, or things like that in your immediate family? Is this your first child? Has anybody else has this test done and got a “not so desirable” result?
For me with my first, my choice to have the test was based purely on wanting to see the baby, I already knew regardless of what the test said that I was going to keep the baby, and with my first I had a 1:94 chance that he would have DS. My second was 1:495 chance my third was 1:2000 or something like that all 3 of my boys are fine.. so it just depends on your, and your personal family history.. in most cases the bloods are covered by Medicare but the scan is not..

That really depends on family history;
