Everybody says it's normal avian isn't walking yet. But my question then is how come I haven't seen any other kids older than one who can't walk? How come every other baby I've met from library and music classes are already walking? How come im only seeing and hearing about the babies who walked between 8-12 months? Not kidding. Ive met countless children walking young but I've never once come across another baby like avian? And I do go out quite a bit. People on momlife have told me about their kids in the same place but I honestly still don't believe it. I've never witnessed in person any other kid Avian's age that wasn't way ahead of him.

I also never met anyone in person whose child wasn’t walking by 12 months but it’s definitely out there my son didn’t walk until he was 16 months old.

Mine didnt walk until 15 months and I was constantly seeing 8 to 11 month olds walking. My son didnt even sit up unassisted until a year. He is a big boy so it just took him longer to develop the muscles and have the confidence to try. Dont be in a rush, I miss the days I didnt have to run after him non stop lol

My son butt scooted around until 1 week after being 18months.
My daughter is still not walking.
I'd say it probably because you don't necessarily know a child's age when you first see them. My daugther is plopped into a carrier or stroller while I keep up with my preschooler. She often looks much younger as a result. When I take her out people are often shocked at how big and tall she is. She goes from a cute little baby to toddler instantly.
Each kid generally develops different interests and skills. My son loved books and puzzles. His sister loves books and sensory play (textures are a big win over here) some puzzles she is learning too. Walking is higher on her list to learn so she has tried a few solo steps but isn't ready for it all just yet.

How come my son doesn't sleep through the night yet? I've never heard of a baby who wasnt sleeping through the night at his age. In fact, all my friends babies started at like ... 6 weeks. Also, my LO is taking his first steps since 13 months (couch to coffee table) but he is not ready to walk bigger stretches because he falls. It's slow going, but it'll come! 😃 I totally feel like you too... one of our friends kids was walking at 10 months, another one has always weighed more than my son and is 3 months younger, and two of them have long luscious hair and my son has like 3 hairs. Whatever lol

I suggest you put yourself in his shoes he is still little, leave him alone he will walk do not compare him to other kids it's not healthy !!!!!!!!!

My sisters daughter didnt start walking till she was 2 years old, because she just didnt want to, all kids develop at there own pace. He will get there.
