Any mamas out there know anything about being sued by a private loan company, for student loans? I can’t post about this on my personal page, and I’m freaking out 😥😭.

They’re just trying to get you to pay. Don’t freak out too much. You prolly have to do payment plans or a judge can do something diff if you can’t afford to pay.

That’s what I’m hoping happens, because I can deff do a payment plan, as long as it’s reasonable. I’m nervous though, because it isn’t a judge, it’s an arbitrary and I feel like they’re going to be harder because they get their 15mins of power lol.

You can call them or if you’ve been contacted by their lawyers call them and set up a payment plan and you won’t have to go to court.

Have you attempted to pay on them at all? Usually any amount on student loan is accepted.

No, because I’m a stubborn idiot. I had a whole mess of things happen with my BS of a school causing me to not be able to graduate. Because of that I was furious (only had 4classes left to graduate), and refused to pay since I had no degree. That was a stupid way to handle it, I’ll admit.

well I’m fairly sure you can pay like $20/month or whatever you can afford that month (maybe not at this point idk) and they will accept that.
