My husbands alarm clock wakes my son up every single morning! The real issue? It goes off at 4 am. Is there anything we can do? We already have a sound machine in his room and it doesn’t help 😩😩

Locking your doors We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?

Get rid of the traditional alarm and use your phone. YOU listen for the sounds and YOU wake him up since he’s a heavy sleeper. Not ideal but you can fall back asleep easier than the baby.

I DO sleep in a different room.
Our youngest still sleeps with us...I get up at all hours because of my shifts..anywhere from 345am-7am...when I know I need to be up early, I lay down with them but then in the middle of the night, depending on my shift, I shift over and either I get up and sleep on the couch or I sleep in a different room so my alarm doesn’t wake up anyone who’s sleeping.
Try new things out, who knows ..your baby might appreciate being able to sleep passed 4am if he can compromise and move to the living room before his alarm goes off. Get into a new routine where it doesn’t mess with your child’s sleep cycle.
