Vent:
I hate that just because part of my family is Johovas Witnesses my mom thinks they are too snooty to talk to our family. Makes up excuses that they aren't "allowed" to talk to Christians. Guess I'll just have to meet up with my cousin by myself so they can give me gifts for my soon to be born daughter 🤷
My Johovas Witness side of the family have ALWAYS made it to special occasions like graduations, baby showers and children's births. Its not my fault my parents are antisocial and cuts off from the rest of the family. 🙄🙃

If you don’t mind me asking are they allowed to have contact with you? I don’t mean to sound ignorant. The only person I’ve known to be a JW left and was -i think it’s called- shunned. His father was not allowed to have contact with him because he turned away.
