My children father is in jail. But I just found out my 5 year has high function autism, aniexty odd and adhd. Should I tell him or just leave that alone?

@young.beautiful3, well I think it would be amazing if he could educate himself for that day. There will already be enough obstacles and that one he can have a bit more control over his response to her and understanding of her. I hope he makes the effort!

My son is high functioning. He understands everything as long as it’s explained. He asks questions about where things and people are. I’m sure you deal with the same. It’s okay to tell her, especially if she asks so she can start processing the info and years from now be ready.
ODD? Really? I’m sorry it really bothers me when they’re giving kids so young the “they’re just bad” label which is how society looks at ODD. We can chat if you like
