Anyone have an experience of a baby with lactose intolerance or cpma?

@chelsjane, yes she’s on sma Alfamino milk they did a blood test there and then on her she was quite poorly with it ☹️, but literally as soon as they gave her the new formula she was amazing she did her first smile the next day. Xx

@vixster, would it state on the ingredients if it has lactose in? I’ve been checking but so far nothing she has had has it in 🙈

Yeah I think I might just go and buy a lactose free milk and try it. It can’t do any harm can it. As she’s still young and can’t just have 3 small meals. But I will go and see my health visitor and see if they can help. My docs just don’t wanna listen to me. And just keep Fobbing me off that it’s reflux. When clearly she’s only sick after having milk, haven’t tried yoghurts yet. Too scared too. As she’s violently sick with just the formula 😓😩
Did it start at birth or older.
Bit of a long story. From birth Darcie was being sick after most feeds, but changed her to reflux milk and she was ok. (Changed her to cow and hate stage 2 around 6months when we started weaning she would be sick after the milk in between feeds she then started being sick after meals too. Went a&e last weekend and they say it was reflux gave her infant gaviscon and randitine. Totally different child. She tolerating the solid meals and has 3 a day on the meds. She’s only sick now once I give milk in the morning and at bedtime. And it’s instantly. Tonight it was before she even finished the milk and was sick whilst bottle was in her mouth. No other food comes back up. Surely if that was reflux the meds would be helping. Does it sound like a milk allergy? I’m at my wits end going to the docs coz they don’t take me seriously. 😭😩
My eldest was milk protein intolerant.
My baby’s got a severe milk protein allergy she was diagnosed at 3weeks old due to her symptoms and was rushed to hospital xx
