My FIL called my husband and asked his Grayson was doing, learning anything new, you know the usual....at the end of the call goes tell Grayson I love him and bye for me...my husband goes...”you know you didn’t ask about Lucas” he just said yeah I know and told him bye....like his parents have something against Lucas and honestly I think I know why...He is named after my side of the family...he looks like me or as I say he looks like a Lucas (Lucas is my maiden name lol)....he is the only grandkid out of their 8 that the name doesn’t go with their family and he is the only one who doesn’t look like anyone in their family... I guess they just don’t want to claim him...my SIL said they tell people they have 7 grandkids and always forgets to mention Lucas...I don’t understand...I really don’t...

Been there with the inlaws also and they are completely cut out of our lives bc that kind of behavior will ill effect our children and cause problems between them later. The relationship they have with one another is the most important thing in the world after knowing God and we will not tolerate someone treating them unfairly. They only want to know about the first and want nothing at all to do with our second. Not ok!!! She was just a newborn and they told my husband to "quit pushing her on us". Bye! We are done. I'm so sorry you're going through this bc it hurts so badly to have such nonsense.

He didn't and he is perfect. The perfect little brother for your big little. Love them the best they can. Your heart will hurt every day but one day it will become clear to you that you are doing the right thing to keep the grandparents away from both. Your husband has to be the one to cast them out them out though or it will damage your marriage. You must present a united front at all times to protect your precious boys. This must really hurt your husband. I feel horrible for mine. But he is firm that he will not let anyone come between our girls or us. We are a family separate from any relatives and must always be together and for one another. Don't let them destroy what you have. Be strong mama and I'm here if you want to talk. I'm sorry you're going through this but sadly must admit I am happy to know I'm not alone in this situation.

Wow.... just wow. I promise you if ANY of mine or my husbands family treated my kid that way, they wouldn’t see my kids again. I’d cut em right off & tell em that. When you’re done being a sack of shit who chooses which one of my kids to love & care about. You’ll love them equally you don’t get a chance to be apart of either of their lives. Period. No ones gonna make my child feel like that, ever.
