My husband and I are on the "we'll have fun when the chores are done" spectrum but even when we get our chores done we find something more that needs doing because as you know chores are never truly finished. There's always something to do. Find a middle ground and get him to understand! He will regret all the play if the rainy day hits and things haven't been cared for.

Does he want to go out as a family both Sat and Sun? Maybe you can comprise to one day out and one day catching up on things.

It’s hard to relate, my husband is on the other end of the spectrum. He’s so boring. Sometimes I’ll just go without him to get out of the house.
