I feel like this is a dumb question, but do hospitals typically supply clothes for babies?
I ask because:: my local hospital gives out special shirts for the babies born up here, and my second was born early, so he didn’t need clothes for the first few weeks but the nicu had clothes for babies to wear when they were able to control their own body temperature. I’m guessing the majority of hospitals do not provide clothing for babies though.

They supply like little shirts but not onesies and stuff

Mine had some type of shirt for the babies. No pants tho. But since they don’t really move and stay wrapped in a blanket that’s probably why they don’t supply more clothing.

Mine provided everything... onesies, gowns, etc. They said we could take whatever we wanted but we left it so others who needed it more could have it. They also gave us a take home bag with clothes in it. It was something they did for all babies in memory of an OB nurse who passed.

My hospital only gives the baby a hat. That's cool I didn't know hospitals gave out clothing.

My hospital gave a hat and shirt. Plus blankets. But honestly just call and ask see what they provide

my hospital had onesies with the hospital logo, mittens, socks and hats

They provided little blanket gown sleepers diapers anything needed for bath and food if formula feeding even got to take what diapers we're left.
