Will you be nursing? If so, nursing tanks and a robe were my go to for both deliveries. I wouldn't worry about packing diapers or wipes. The hospital will supply them. Unless you are set on a specific brand.
Yes I'm going to try to nurse. But I'm telling myself that if it doesn't work out for one reason or another, I'm not going to be disappointed in myself. As long as he's getting fed is what matters to me.
I brought a few things with my second that I wished I had with my first.
They ARE NOT essential or necessary by any means, but I personally found them helpful kinda like comfort items.
-bring your boppy/nursing pillow, if you have one. Those things are lifesavers and I brought mine with both kids and will if I ever have another. ( the one thing in this comment that in my opinion is more of an essential)
-my own light throw blanket, hospital blankets suck and it can get cold sometimes,
-and my own pillow.
-earbuds/headphones for music during labor. I made a labor playlist that ended up helping me keep distracted through some contractions for a while.
- a cheap hand fan, I got one of the foldable ones from the dollar store and used it for some hot flashes.
-stress ball to squeeze the heck out of if need be (I ended up bringing two different ones for my own sanity)
-an extension cord for my phone charger, my first hospital didnt have plugs close enough so I wanted it handy just in case, but I ended up not needing it.
- the baby bottles I had for baby, in case he ended up needing formula, so he would get use to the nipple and not have to transition from the hospital one (unless the bottles you have are the standard nipples)
Im legit just taking a receiving blanket going home outfit socks an outfit for me (including clothes to shower) a travel kit from Walmart and an extension cord 😂 i hate taking toooo much with my first i took ALOT and i was there for less than 24 hours lol
Slippers with soles, boppy pillow like pp said and a blanket from home. Also bring something nice for your nurses 😉 they always appreciate that. And a power strip for phone cords so you can reach and aren't limited to charging one phone or device at a time
For me a thin cozy—- a bit on the big size robe was heaven. That and I also brought and used a pen and a tiny little notepad both times. Even if you don’t use it, you might want to bring a bit of makeup just in case (for me just mascara and some light foundation).

Nursing bras/camisoles are a must imo

Thanks! I've never been in the hospital myself so this is my first time.

This is my first so I don't really know what to expect but apps like this really helps because there are so many who has been in my shoes before

I think you got just about everything! I wish I had taken my own blanket, pillows and towels. The hospital ones weren’t very comfortable.
