Where do you ladies shop to get your clothes from? I normally go to the thrift store or this consignment shop and get all of my clothes. They usually always have nice clothes in excellent condition and even new clothes. I feel like I need more dressy clothes that just makes me feel good. I normally wear comfortable clothes because I don't go out. But when we do I don't have much of anything dressy. Any suggestions?

Ive had babies 9-10 lbs 0-3 months is what they wore the day they were born and size 1 diapers not NB

It might depend on height ? My baby girl was 8lbs 15oz at birth, but she was 2inch shorter than my first, at 20inch ...but I took her home at 8lbs 4oz so she for newborn just fine, which I wasn't prepared for ! Lol. My son was 8lbs 11oz 22inch and I had him in 0-3 month right away. She's over 9lbs now for sure and still fits in newborn but is starting to grow into 3 month stuff

Yes that's my concern too. Because in the ultrasound he was real big & he has a big head too. But his legs weren't that long. So I'm assuming he's anywhere around 20inches or more. So even if his clothes fits a little big it's okay. I'm just going to pack enough for each. But I won't be overloading either. If baby does need extra clothes, than I'll just have my husband come home for some. We don't live far from the hospital.

yeah...I had brought 0-3 to the hospital and no newborn because they said she was going to be so huge 😂maybe I brought 1 newborn footies. But the onsies and stuff were all 0-3 months and they were loose on her. So I'd bring one of each, because they do lose some weight after birth. Both my babies were in size 1 diaper to start out with, but I felt like my son had a bigger head lol. But at the hospital the newborn hat didn't fit my daughter so idk 😂 I just make big babies hahaha

Also - if you’re basing the weight off the doctors estimate, then be prepared for it to most likely be wrong.
They say that weight estimates are usually up to one solid pound wrong.
My first: at 40 weeks the doctor estimated 9lbs. TWO WEEKS LATER at one day shy of 42 weeks my daughter was born at 9.6lbs. There’s noooo way she only gained 6oz during those two weeks.
My second: He was estimated at 7lbs at 38 weeks 3 days. He was born 4 days later at 9.1lbs. There’s noooo way he gained 2lbs in 4 days.
Just be prepared for a bit of a difference in weight than what they are estimating.

0-3. Regretted not having anything with me just in case. But I was also told she would be around 7lbs and ended up 10lbs

My 9.7lb baby fit in newborn for like a week. Get 0-3.

Some will. But, both my kids were 9+ and they were born into size 1 diapers & 0-3mo clothes.
Some kids also drop weight after born. Apparently that’s normal, but mine never did.
I’m in group on Facebook of people who had babies in April 2019, and just today someone posted about how her 6 week old was still in newborn sizes and there were two moms who said their babies were 9lbs and are still in newborn sizes at 5 weeks weeks old.
I think it depends on if your child is bulky or not.
This is what I did during my second child:
I packed the hospital bag with all 0-3mo, and then in the truck of my car I packed a much smaller bag with some newborn size outfits. I left that bag in the truck of my car. My plan was, If he WAS born into newborn sizes then I’d have my husband run out to the car and grab those outfits. We didn’t end up needing them, but we had them just in case.

I had an ultrasound today and got to see my baby. He had a huge belly & head. doctor said he was approximately 9lbs 7 oz.

So my guess, is to pack 0-3mo. But I will pack some newborn clothes, just in case.
