“in love” and “love” are two different things to me as well. I can love a family member bc they are family but don’t necessarily like them. But if you’re in love...you must like them!
At times you won't like your spouse. Love is a choice and not a feeling so if you're dedicated to loving that person, no matter how much they rub you the wrong way, then it is possible.
You don't have to like someone to love them. Love is unconditional. But what people refer to as "being in love" is the act of liking the person, and making the choice to hold positive energy only towards them.
