Our childminder is closed today for a funeral. She messaged me last week about the closure, I told him and made a note on the kitchen calendar.

She then mentioned it on her child minding Facebook page, which hubby sees as well as me.

This morning? He's rushed around getting Bethany ready to go to the childminder at 8am. When he brought her shoes through at 8, I reminded him I'm taking her straight to school - "What? Why did nobody remind me before? I could have gone to work early and come home early!"

Me - "I told you last week. It's on the kitchen calendar!"

Him - "Who looks at calendars?"
